Currently Ceremonies for up to 30 people including the two registrars are allowed.

The Government is due to review the situation regarding wedding receptions from the 15th of August.

Several of our couples have now had their wedding ceremony at Winters Barns having postponed the reception to 2021 or 2022.

The socially distanced ceremonies both inside and outside have been very special events and have been a great success.

Should you wish to postpone your wedding or wedding reception we will be able to do this to 2021 for no extra charge or to 2022 for a small extra charge. So long as the this is done within the three months prior to the original wedding date including any holding time.

Any postponements undertaken before the three-month period will incur our normal rearrangement fees and 2021 or 2022 charges.

If you wish to have your ceremony on the original date and also postpone your reception, then there will be no extra charge for the venue hire on the original date. If you wish and are able to have food and drink after the ceremony, there will be a charge for that offering, separate to your package which will have been transferred to the reception day.

Each couple and every wedding is of course different, we will work with you to achieve the best possible wedding day for you in this imperfect world.

You can still have an amazing ceremony on your original day, you will then be married!

 The Canterbury Registrars have been wonderful at arranging this with us.
