Outside you’ll find lavish gardens, a charming courtyard with a pond and bridge and 100-year old Bramley apple trees in our orchard.

At night, all these transform into a magical backdrop as we illuminate the gardens and oak structures with fairy lights.

Winters Barns has everything you need for a stress-free, enjoyable wedding. For the ceremony, you can choose between our open-sided Cart Barn and our 1750 Kentish barn ceremony room.

The Cart Barn faces the courtyard with a traditional wedding arch, alongside stunning Kentish gardens, providing you with the perfect backdrop for a memorable outdoor wedding.

The 1750 ceremony room boasts the perfect blend of historic architecture and modern comforts. It is equipped with air-conditioning and heating providing you with the perfect same-sex wedding venue in Canterbury year-round.

For evening entertainment, we transform the ceremony room into your reception room complete with live band facilities or DJ facilities. So that you wouldn’t have to rush leaving the venue, we also offer overnight accommodation for newlyweds. We have a cosy cottage opposite the barns to give you a place for rest after you’ve said goodbye to all your friends and family.
